Class Description:
This class will guide you through the process of constructing a quilt in miniature size. Learn rotary cutting, piecing with a scant quarter inch seam, pressing seams, pinning procedures, sewing half square triangles, applying borders, quilting of the three layers, and binding applications.

Supplies:
Sewing Machine in good working order (bring the manual if you need it)
Sewing machine tool kit (including pins, ripper, scissors, extra machine needles, 50 wgt piecing thread, marking tool, pencil, etc.)
Pencil and notepad for notes
Rotary cutter
6” sq ruler and/or 6” x 12” ruler are helpful
Fabric
You can make this scrappy or pick a color way
Enough fabric to cut 40- 2 ½ “ squares
½ yard of background fabric
¼ yard each of 2 or 3 coordinating border fabrics (for options)
¾ yards of backing fabric
⅔ yards of cotton batting
¼ yards of binding fabric
