Making a Gardening Apron With Sarah
You will receive instructions on how to create your very own gardening apron in this class! You may learn some new sewing techniques too as we will be doing French seams, creating a faux buttonhole, and how to gather. These aprons make great gifts for the gardener in your life or for Moms with young children. (they will hold a great number of small toys when picking up.) They would also be handy to use when cleaning the house and holding items.
Items you will need for the class:
½ yard of main fabric unless it is directional and then you may need additional fabric if the print follows the selvage.
1 yard of contrast fabric
1 pkg of double fold bias tape 1/2” wide
Matching thread
Cutting supplies
Sewing supplies- pins, clips, chalk pencil or some type of marking pen that will erase
Washable glue (I use a clear washable glue)
Sewing machine (Of Course Western Maine Machines sells great ones too!)
